LEVEL 3 AWARD IN PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
This course is designed for anyone wanting to become a first aider or appointed person in an environment with a responsibility for the welfare of infants and children and needs to comply with the EYFS staff to child ratio requirements
The content of this course is regarded by the Early Years Foundation Stage as being important to maintaining good practice in the safe, prompt and effective treatment of injuries and ill health of infants and children who are under the care of trained personnel
Note: Newly qualified entrants to an early years setting who have completed a level 2 and/or level 3 qualification on or after 30th June 2016 must hold a Paediatric First Aid or an Emergency Paediatric First Aid certificate within three months of starting work.
