This course is designed for people responsible for First Aid in sports, outward bound and adventure activity environments

12 Hours (2 Days)

• The Role and Responsibilities of a First Aider
• Patient Assessment
• The Unconscious Casualty
• The Casualty who is Not Breathing (CPR & AED)
• The Choking Casualty
• Bleeding and Wound Management
• Managing a casualty who is in Shock
• Minor injuries
• Secondary Survey
• Injuries to Bones, Muscles and Joints
• Suspected Head and Spinal injuries
• Suspected Chest injuries
• Burns and Scalds
• Eye injuries
• Poisoning
• Anaphylaxis
• Suspected Major Illnesses
• Effects of Heat & Cold

Includes:

• Training consumables & materials
• e-Certificate - Valid and checkable for 3 years
• First Aid Manual (to keep)
