Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

This course is designed for anyone wanting to become a first aider or appointed person in a low risk environment for the purposes of meeting first aid in the workplace requirements, in accordance with the ‘Health & Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981’

Course Length:

6 Hours (1 Day)

Course Content:

• The Role and Responsibilities of a First Aider
• Patient Assessment
• The Unconscious Casualty
• The Casualty who is Not Breathing (CPR & AED)
• The Choking Casualty
• The Casualty who is experiencing a Seizure
• Dealing with Wounds and Bleeding
• Managing a Casualty who is in Shock
• Minor injuries
• Serious injuries
• Medical Emergencies

Includes:

• Training consumables & materials
• e-Certificate - Valid and checkable for 3 years
• First Aid Manual (to keep)
